Farewell Luncheon at Sydney Tower for departing Warbys. Tower revolves for a beautiful view of Sydney. Our boss, Alan Wakeley is sitting on the front, left hand side. He's extremely nice and patient!

For all you Sceptics...

Here is proof that we actually do spend time at the office, working really hard. Some of our friends think that we are here on a vacation! (actually these pictures are staged, we only dropped in for a few minutes to say "Hi" to our boss and let him know we are still in the country, and to ask him for directions to the nearest beach). We are spending a lot of extra hours working on the Law and Religion Symposium. We can see that we are contributing to the Lord's work.

Of Goodly Parents....

This is one of my favorite pictures of my parents, Virgil and Virginia Francom. It is their Wedding picture. Mother was 17 and Dad was 22 years old. I am so blessed to have such wonderful parents, who loved the Lord and through their example and other teachings, left me a wonderful heritage. Mother died May 25, 1960 and Dad just left this world to be with her and his family on May 24, 2009. If he had waited for just one more hour, they would have died on the same day 49 years apart. I can only imagine the wonderful reunion they are all having right now. Dad's funeral was today, May 30th, in Utah. As I am in Australia, it is May 31st. I wanted to be there to say "Farewell for now", but that just wasn't possible. I miss spending time with my family and sisters on this day. I love you all.

A HUGE Success

Last weekend we went with 81 Young Single Adults to Canberra, Australia's Capitol. We went to visit parliament and meet a lot of the nation's leaders. The purpose of the visit was to get better acquainted with the government leaders and for them to get better acquainted with the Church and its outstanding young people and programs. Dal and I transported YSA from the airport to where they were staying, and various other responsibilities. We spent a lot time with them and they are truly amazing. Four of them taught us how to do the "Tim Tam Slam", which we will teach you when we get home. We will bring some Tim Tams home with us!

THIS IS THE PLACE.....

We have a flat in this building. You can see the drive way on the left side. It is very tight to drive through to the back car park. It is fortunate that all of the 7 cars that park in the back don't have scrapes on the side from the bricks of the building. It is a nice neighborhood with a little shopping centre less than a block away. (Notice that I am starting to talk and spell "Aussie" style).

I've Had It, And I Can't Take Anymore!!

I finally put him up "For Sale". Think about it, living in a small apartment (with a one person bathroom) and working together for 8 hours. We're together 24/7!!! Nobody every told me it would be like this. I cracked!! Dal has been on the market for a week now, and not even one call inquiring about him. If he were even out golfing, that would help the situation a lot(I never thought I would say that). Come to think of it, he has a smile on his face - maybe he likes the idea!

Blue Mountains-Dal & Vicki & 3 Sisters

A Saturday trip with several Senior Missionaries to the Blue Mountains. We took the cable car to the top, and then walked through a rain forest. Some of the rock formations reminded us of Zions Canyon , but not as pretty. It definitely looked like the mountains had a blue cast to them. The 3 peaks we are standing in front of is called the "Three Sisters". The scenery was beautiful and we had a good time.

And Now ...the FLAT - The worst is first
